Keeping everyone safe in high-rise buildings

At Camden, we’re committed to delivering the highest standard of safety to all our residents. As part of the 2022 Building Safety Act, all high-rise buildings must have a resident engagement strategy. This strategy ensures all residents know how to report a fire and understand the evacuation procedure for their building. The development of this strategy is an opportunity to put residents at the heart of our decision-making and ensure we’re working together to keep everyone safe.

We have developed a survey to help us understand how we can effectively engage residents in high-rise buildings on building and fire safety. Through the survey, we will gain insight into how residents feel about the current fire safety procedures in their building and any barriers in how they engage with us on fire safety concerns. We will use these insights to inform the resident engagement strategy.
